2025 FIESTA MEMBER SHOW

PROSPECTUS & ENTRY (Note, be on the lookout for updates, as needed)

For April 26, 2025 The Coppini Academy of Fine Arts FIESTA25 Member Show

GENERAL INFORMATION

Member Representational Art only, will need to be reviewed "Online" by our Member Art Show Selection Committee. Contact Tom Ellis, CAFA Board President (tomellis1@me.com) if you need clarification.

Interested members must submit online (High Resolutions JPG, PNG, or TIF), see dates below.
You may submit up to three (3) pieces for consideration. All works must be for sale
No entry fee. Note: CAFA requires 25% of sale price for supporting the facilities and fine art programs.
Identify the work by Title, Medium, Artist, and Cost.
Submit only original works, by you (the Member), professionally framed and ready to hang.

Maximum framed Size is 60 x 60 inches (or 25 Sq ft), and weighing no more than 30 pounds. See CAFA suggested framing instruction. Note: The elevator is available to transport pieces to the Gallery. The artist must deliver and assist hanging their works.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to all Coppini Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) members in good standing. New members may apply for CAFA membership prior to the time of their competition submissions. See CAFA's website https://www.thecoppini org/?p=Membership for the required membership fees and forms.

KEY DATES TO REMEMBER

April 10 - April 17 Receive Online Submission Dates (High Resolution JPG, PNG, or TIF)

From your computer, go to https://www.thecoppini.org/?p=Shows
Click on the Fiesta Member Show link. Click on the entry form and enter your artwork information,
- Including a photo of your submission (use high-quality jpg, png, or tif).
- April 19th - April 23rd Notice of Acceptance Tom Ellis to notify artists, by email, which artworks were accepted.

Important dates & times-

April 24th & 25th, 1 :00 PM- 5:00 PM: Deliver "Accepted Art" to the CAFA Upstairs gallery. Please Note: Accepted Art Submission ID must accompany artwork. An elevator is available (contact Tom Ellis, tomellis1@me.com, or 210 508 0813) if you need to schedule for access and/or delivery.
April 25th, 1 PM - 5 PM: Exhibit Installed.
April 26th, Noon - 5 PM: Saturday, Fiesta Exhibit
April 27th, 1 PM - 4 PM: Artist to Retrieve Artwork (contact Tom Ellis, tomellis1@me.com, or 210 508 0813) if you need to schedule the elevator.

VIEWING DATE

Bring friends and family to enjoy Fiesta at the Coppini Saturday, April 26th, Noon - 5 PM: Saturday, Fiesta Exhibit.

SALES

All work exhibited must be available for sale. CAFA receives a 25% commission of the sale price (payable by check after the show). Purchasers will be able to pick up their artwork at the conclusion of the exhibition. The artist has agreed to leave their artwork in the show for the duration of the exhibition.

LIABILITY

CAFA takes reasonable security measures to protect all artwork submitted to this exhibition. However, CAFA is not responsible for loss or damage to the work. By submitting the artwork to this exhibition, the artist has agreed to accept this condition. All possible care will be used in handling the piece(s). Artists should insure their own work and are responsible for contacting their own insurance agent, if deemed necessary.

PERMISSION and AGREEMENT

By submitting an entry, the artist has agreed to all the show's criteria as specified in the above paragraphs. In addition, the artist grants permission for the Coppini Member's Fiesta Art Show Coordinator (Tom Ellis, CAFA Board President) or designated representatives to use images of the accepted artwork in the CAFA's newsletter, website, brochures, social media sites, and promotional materials, as well as articles about the competition submitted to newspapers, magazines, or TV programs. Every effort will be taken to ensure the images adequately depict the artwork, but the artist recognizes that electronic media and printers may unintentionally affect the image's outcome.
